Update

Ahh man!! I got the most exciting phone call the other night. I know a guy who is getting married and he and his finance are still looking for photographers, I guess he saw my facebook fan page N~Grace Photography and liked what he saw. He gave me a call and asked if I would consider taking pictures for their wedding...ummm let me think about that, YESS!!! loL..nothing is set in stone just yet, he still has to talk to his finance and get back to me but hopefully I'll get the job =). Anyway I wanted to post some pictures before it got too late

Enchanted Forest Photography

I'm so excited because I'm gonna start working (well, volunteering) at Enchanted Forest Photography you should check out the website. Sheri Kendrek is an incredible photographer and a really nice woman. Today was my first day going in (so of course I'm just getting to know she and her assistant), but I had a really nice time =) I walked in while they were in session with a baby girl who was such a cutie, so I was able to observe and learn the ropes of how they operate in her studio. Anywayyy hopefully I'll be going in on Saturday as well, we'll see how things turn out.

Well I bought it!!

So I couldn't wait until Friday (loL) I budged and got it today!! The Nikon D3000..seeing as I'm an aspiring professional photographer I thought it would suit me best to purchase their entry "beginners" level camera and just interchange the lenses when the time comes. This camera is bangin so far i took a couple of shots in the house (here they are, what do u think..?)

 

Thats all i'll show for now..i'll take more shots tomorrow in the day light (it was really rainy today so hopefully it'll be a good day tomorrow for pictures)..hope u enjoy. =)

Nikon D3000

I've been looking for a nice DSLR camera that wasn't too expensive and I finally got one, it's the new Nikon D3000 its only $550 - haha i say "only $550" like i have that much to spend loL - (it's $550 if you buy it from the Nikon website, but you can find it cheaper on other sites and stores)...check it out it has a lot of handy-dandy features for the beginner photographer but still a great camera overall whether u're a beginner or not =) it's a 10.2 Megapixel 18-55mm camera and i LOVE it...if I don't see one better before Friday this is the one I will be getting! =) here are some pics to check out:
