Photographer of the Week: Melissa Rodwell

I've only recently stumbled across her work, however she has been in the business for quite some time. Melissa Rodwell is a fashion photographer (who has an awesome website!) http://www.fashionphotographyblog.com/ You gotta check it out for tips, tutorials, and videos! There isn't much I can say about this woman, her work speaks for itself...

NYC

So this is just a quick post, I'm getting ready for bed, but here are a few pics I took while in the city this past weekend.

So no, it was nothing like I wanted, but I haven't even edited the photo yet. I'm pretty tired and when I flew back into FL yesterday I had to jump right back into work and class. Just busy! =/

Picture of the day...(or should I say night)

Photographer: Philipp Klinger

I just bought a nikon 35mm dx because of the 1.8 f-stop. I'm going to NY this week and I want to produce a picture like this one! Of course I know there are tips, tricks and techniques to doing this along with having such a large aperture. I guess we'll see how it goes when I get up there. Unfortunately I won't be bringing my tripod (too much stuff to carry - after all I am going up there to shop loL!) so the likely hood of my photo turning out well is slim but we'll see. I'm excited and can't wait to try out my new lens for night photography.

Christopher Kilkus Inspiration

He is a fashion photographer who works with all sorts of people/clients, however I LOVE his work with Forever 21 (if you read my Fotos and Fashion blog, you know I love Forever 21 loL) He has  a retro yet natural/lomo-ish look to his photos and it is so inspirational to me! When I actually have the time I'll be shooting photos like this! I love it! Just thought I'd share =)

Hey what do you guys think of me posting a pic of the day? Or maybe photo of the week?? What would you all like to see?? I like all aspects and types of photography from landscape to fashion. I'll think about it and start posting (what I think are) inspirational photos.
